Proposed Development by Council of Public Carpark at Foxrock Village

In accordance with Part 8, Article 81 of the above Regulations, as amended, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council hereby gives notice of a proposal to construct a Car park at Foxrock Village, Foxrock, Dublin 18 as follows:-

The construction of a car park for Foxrock Village within lands of Horse Racing Ireland (Leopardstown Racecourse). The car park will allow for a total 51 car parking spaces comprising 2 disabled car parking spaces, 2 electric recharging bays and 47 standard bays, a covered cycle stand for 14 cycles. New walls, height barriers, fences, screening, gates, public lighting, relocate vehicular entrance gates to within the site and widening of existing pedestrian entrance, extensive natural and planted landscaping and ancillary works.

The existing trees and vegetation on boundaries have been surveyed by an Arborist and all trees and vegetation identified as of value will be retained and protected during construction. Old railway rock/stone walls are to be repaired/restored.

In accordance with S.I. 476, 2011, Section 250, Planning and Development (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations, 2011, the Council has determined that an Appropriate Assessment is not required.

Plans and particulars of the proposals are available for inspection from Friday 10thMay, 2013 up to and including Friday 21st June, 2013 at the Planning & Enterprise Department, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire between the hours of 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. and at the Council Offices, Dundrum Office Park, Dundrum between the hours 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.

Plans and Particulars – Proposed Public Car Park at Foxrock Village

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposals, and dealing with the proper planning and development of the area, may be made in writing on or before –Friday 5th July, 2013.
